Emily R. Berry

Emily is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist with special interests in working with clients who are deaf and hard-of-hearing. She obtained her BS from Ithaca College in Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped in 1994 which included a teacher’s certificate, and her MA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Speech-Language Pathology in 1997. Emily joined Pediatric Speech and Language Services, Inc. as the first employee in 1997. Emily and her family moved to coastal NC in 2011. Emily sees clients along the southern coast of NC. Emily is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, AG Bell, and NC AG Bell. Emily became a LSLS Certified Auditory Verbal Therapist in 2009. Emily is fluent in American Sign Language and Cued Speech.
