Amanda is a Speech-Language Pathologist currently completing her clinical fellowship year. She has a special interest in promoting learning through listening and spoken language by providing therapeutic services to the hearing loss population using a listening and spoken language approach. Amanda obtained her BS in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology with a minor in Child Development from the University of Akron in 2011 and her MA in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Akron in 2013. She joined Pediatric Speech and Language Services, Inc. in 2013. Amanda provides services to families in the Greensboro area. Amanda’s goal is to become a LSLS Certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist.

Amanda is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist working in Forsyth and Guilford counties. She received her BS in May 2008 from North Carolina State University in Elementary Education (Kindergarten-6th grade). In May 2013, she received her Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. She spent her last semester of graduate school doing her full-time clinical placement with Pediatric Speech and Language Services and joined the team full-time in June 2013. Amanda has special interests working in Early Intervention and with clients who are deaf and hard of hearing in order to promote spoken language. She received training in Cued Speech and auditory verbal techniques within the past year, and is interested in learning sign language. Amanda has worked with clients in a variety of settings including a preschool, daycares and homes to address speech and language deficits. She currently resides in Forsyth County with her husband and their black lab.

Chrissy is an ASHA Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with special interests in working with clients who are deaf and hard of hearing. Chrissy is advancing her clinical training in the area of Childhood Apraxia of Speech. She received her BS in Speech Pathology and Audiology in 1995 and her MS in Speech Pathology in 1996 from Clarion University of PA. She is skilled in working with children who require Auditory-Verbal/Auditory-Oral techniques, Cued Speech and Sign Language. She has worked in the schools and in homes for children in early intervention. She has experience working for a Cochlear Implant team and has worked as workshop presenter and mentor throughout North Carolina. She became LSLS certified in 2013.
